Purity: Based on immunoelectrophoresis at an antigen concentration of 20 mg/ml, the pattern of precipitation against goat anti-rat whole serum is the same as that against goat anti-rat IgG, Fc fragment specific. No precipitin line was detected against goat anti-rat IgA, alpha chain specific or goat anti-rat IgM, µ chain specific.
This antibody is recommended for use in blocking assays, immunohistochemical, immunocytochemical and immunofluorescent applications.
Storage: Store at 2-8°C under sterile conditions. Dilute only enough antibody for a single day"e;s use.
Country of Origin: USA
These immunoglobulins are useful as qualitative or quantitative protein standards and as blocking agents in certain immunodetection methods. Product # 31933 is a highly-purified IgG immunoglobulin from the serum of a non-immunized animal, primarily used as an experimental control.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
Up-regulation of immunoglobulin G gene expression in the hippocampus of rats subjected to acute immobilization stress.
31933 was used in immunohistochemistry to study the increased expression of IgG mRNA and protein observed in the hippocampus of a rat model of acute immobilization stress
