MA5-16727 contains a monoclonal mixture of FITC-conjugated CD3 (clone #IF4, Mouse IgM) and RPE-conjugated CD8 (clone #OX-8, Mouse IgG1). This antibody is a dual-color reagent recognizing rat CD3 and CD8 cell surface antigens. Clone IF4 recognizes rat CD3, a cell surface antigen expressed by mature lymphocytes. Clone OX8 recognizes rat CD8, a cell surface glycoprotein expressed by thymocytes and by the suppressor/cytotoxic subset of peripheral blood T cells. CD8 expression has also been reported upon rat macrophages.
Reconstitute with 1 ml of distilled water. After reconstitution, store product undiluted at 4°C in the dark.
For FACS analysis, use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100ul.
