Clone 20/70 has been reported to block the binding of the C5a to murine CD88.
Reconstitute with 1 ml of distilled water. After reconstitution, store product undiluted at 4°C in the dark.
For FACS analysis, use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100ul.
CD88 is a 45kDa G-protein coupled cell surface receptor, also known as C5aR. The CD88 molecule functions as a receptor for the complement component C5a, which is a potent proinflammatory molecule and a chemoattractant for neutrophils to sites of infection. In mouse, CD88 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes and macrophages but not on resting or stimulated lymphocytes.
