The MA1-7335 antibody reacts with Chlamydia trachomatis MOMP in bacterial and infected tissue samples. MA1-7335 shows no reactivity with C. pneumoniae.
MA1-7335 has been successfully used in ELISA, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemical applications. Acetone fixation is recommended prior to staining.
The MA1-7335 antibody was raised against Major outer membrane protein (MOMP).
Chlamydia trachomatis is one of three bacterial species in the genus Chlamydia, family Chlamydiaceae. C. trachomatis was the first chlamydial agent discovered in humans. It comprises two human biovars: trachoma and lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV).
