MA1-26755 detects Cyclin D1 from human and rat samples.
MA1-26755 has been successfully used in ELISA, immunohistochemistry (frozen), immunohistochemistry (paraffin), immunoprecipitation, flow cytometry, and Western blot procedures.
The MA1-26755 immunogen is full length human protein.
MA1-26755 requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0 is recommended for this purpose.
Cyclin D1 is a 36 kDa nuclear protein. D type cyclins are predominantly expressed in the G1 phase of the cell cycle. Cyclin D1 studyis of interest in various forms of malignancy and over expression has been linked to poor prognosis.
