OPA1-15394 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (FFPE)procedures. By immunohistochemistry, OPA1-15394 detects ETA in formalin fixed, paraffin embedded human tissues.

The ETA receptor has been reported in a variety of tissues including placenta, uterus, testis, heart, adrenal gland, lung, kidney, ovary, skin, liver, bladder, large blood vessels, cerebellum, neurons, and meningioma tumor cells.
G-protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) comprise one of the largest families of signaling molecules with more than a thousand members currently predicted to exist.
