PA5-28603 targets FN3K in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-28603 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 309 of Human FN3K.
FN3K catalyzes phosphorylation of fructosamines formed by glycation, the nonenzymatic reaction of glucose with primary amines followed by Amadori rearrangement. Phosphorylation of fructosamines may initiate metabolism of the modified amine and result in deglycation of glycated proteins (Delpierre et al., 2000 [PubMed 11016445]).
