MA1-10726 detects Gentamicin.
MA1-10726 has been successfully used in ELISA applications.
The MA1-10726 immunogen is Gentamicin, conjugated to KLH.
Gentamicin is a parenterally administered, broad spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic typically used for moderate to severe gram negative infections. A complex of three different closely related aminoglycoside sulfates, Gentamicins C1, C2, and C1(subA), obtained from Micromonospora purpurea and related species. They are broad-spectrum antibiotics, but may cause ear and kidney damage. They act to inhibit protein synthesis (genetic translation). [National Center for Biotechnology Information.
