MA1-40071 detects MGL from mouse samples.
MA1-40071 has been successfully used in flow cytometry, functional assays, and immunohistochemistry (frozen) applications.
The MA1-40071 immunogen is mouse mature macrophage cell lines.
Monoglyceride lipase functions together with hormone-sensitive lipase to hydrolyze intracellular triglyceride stores in adipocytes and other cells to fatty acids and glycerol. MGLL may also complement lipoprotein lipase in completing hydrolysis of monoglycerides resulting from degradation of lipoprotein triglycerides (Karlsson et al., 2001).
