MM500DB targets Mouse GM-CSF in WB applications and shows reactivity with mouse samples.
The MM500DB immunogen is recombinant mouse GM-CSF.
MM500DB detects Mouse GM-CSF which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 14 kDa.
The MM500DB mouse GMCSF antibody (biotinylated conjugate of clone 31G6) has successfully been paired as the detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA with capture antibody MM500C (clone 22E9) Typical dilutions for sandwich ELISA include 1 µg/ml for coating and 0.125 - 0.25 µg/ml for detection.
Biotinylated antibody MM500DB (clone 31G6) and antibody MM500C (clone 22E9) have successfully been used in combination with recombinant mouse GMCSF protein SMGMCSF in ELISA applications.
This antibody is produced by injecting Rat IgG secreting hybridoma cells into the peritoneum of mice. The resulting ascites is collected from the mice and the antibody is purified.
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes and macrophages. The active form of the protein is found extracellularly as a homodimer. This gene has been localized to a cluster of related genes at chromosome region 5q31, which is known to be associated with interstitial deletions in the 5q- syndrome and acute myelogenous leukemia. Other genes in the cluster include those encoding interleukins 4, 5, and 13.
