PA5-31491 targets TRIM4/ RNF87 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-31491 immunogen is recombinant protein fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 79 and 268 of Human TRIM4/ RNF87.
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies. Its function has not been identified. Alternative splicing of this gene generates two transcript variants.
