It's a large flask with a small footprint. Made with high quality, optically clear virgin polystyrene, the Thermo Scientific Nunc Non-treated Flasks, with high level sterility assurance, are ideal for suspension culture of non-adherent cells.

Culturing technique is the key. Start by pouring a homogenous cell suspension carefully into the triple-layer flask. After letting the volume equilibrate among the three layers in the upright position, hold the flask on its side, at an approximately 75° angle to the workbench, before gently and quickly laying it down on its growth surface. The angled back-tilting enables equal distribution of the cell suspension among the three layers.

The Thermo Scientific Nunclon Delta cell culture surface
The Nunclon Delta surface is a fully synthetic energy-treated surface that makes the otherwise very hydrophobic polystyrene surface more hydrophilic, thus facilitating cell attachment and growth. The Nunclon Delta certificate ensures high quality standards and lot-to-lot consistency. Look for it on a variety of Thermo Scientific cell culture plastics.
