Speaker: Mauro de Pra, Application Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Germering/Germany

Content: Polar pesticides such as glyphosate and its metabolite AMPA have become a hot topic in recent years.  The potential carcinogenic nature of glyphosate and the discovery of this compound in various food sources has led to an increased amount of testing in food and water samples.  Glyphosate and other polar pesticides are not retained by C18 columns and current HPLC methods require derivitisation or speciality columns which show robustness issues.  Ion chromatography coupled to a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer has been used to separate polar pesticides without the need for derivitisation.

Speaker: Giorgia Greco, Product Manager HPLC for MS Systems, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Germering/Germany

Content: Liquid chromatography is often the forgotten partner in LC-MS, but by ensuring the correct UHPLC system is paired with the mass spectrometer for specific applications you can maximise your output and ensure you are fully utilising your investments. This webinar will investigate the parameters to consider, the application requirements and offer recommendations as to which UHPLC to use for specific LC-MS applications.

Speaker: Tiziana Ladisa, Application specialist Chromatography solution IC LC, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Rodano/Italy

Content: Liquid chromatography does n't always provide the expected chromatogram. In the final webinar of the series we will show classic problems seen in HPLC / UHPLC separation, explain the typical causes and explain how these can be eliminated.

Speaker: Anna Severoni, Support Specialist, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Rodano/Italy

Content: This webinar will overview the requirements of a Chromatography Data System (CDS) software to ensure that data integrity regulations are followed and how the Thermo Scientific™ Chromeleon™ Chromatography Data System software allows you to protect the integrity of your data at each stage of the workflow. We will present an overview of the current data integrity regulations, how these translate to a Chromatography Data System software and how Chromeleon protects data integrity.

Speaker: Luca Gerardo, Application Specialist LC, IC, Sample Preparation, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Rodano/Italy
