Optimized for PCR- and qPCR-based assays

Lyo-ready enzymes are designed to deliver high performance in both PCR and qPCR assays. As shown in Figure 1, the lyo-ready DNA polymerase formulation offers sensitive and reproducible qPCR results comparable to the standard formulation of Platinum Taq DNA polymerase for a wide range of template DNA amounts. The enzyme is produced under tightly controlled manufacturing conditions to help ensure that the formulation is free of contaminating DNA, to enable specific and reliable results.

High stability for reliable results

With optimized enzyme formulations, the lyo-ready enzymes exhibit high stability under different shipping and storage conditions (Figure 2). After multiple freeze/thaw cycles, the lyo-ready Invitrogen LibertyTaq DNA polymerase showed the same optimal performance as the lyo-ready enzyme stored at -20°C, indicating that lyo-ready enzymes are highly stable and deliver consistent and reproducible assays.

Robust amplification of complex DNA templates

Manufactured in a rigorous process and formulated for high yield, our lyo-ready enzymes offer robust amplification across a wide range of DNA templates, as shown using low- and high-complexity DNA (Figure 3). Using DNA fragments with different GC content, comparable and efficient amplification was achieved with both lyo-ready DNA polymerase and the enzyme of the standard formulation.
