Thermo Scientific Electron Microscopes provide deep scientific insight over multiple length scales: Single Particle Analysis (SPA) allows protein structure determination at atomic level, using Cryo-Electron Microscopy. This Nobel Prize-winning technique can also be applied in situ, to determine structure-function relationships in the cellular context, using Cryo-Tomography. Large Volume Analysis gives insights into the ultrastructure of cells and tissue on the mesoscale.
