Automatic uploading and storing
of data files
Maintain control of your experiment data with automatic upload to your private cloud account from cloud-enabled instruments or from your desktop computer.
With Thermo Fisher Cloud-enabled instruments such as the QuantStudio 3 or 5 real-time PCR instruments, you can remotely set up your plate and experiment protocols and download the methods directly from your secure cloud account to start your run. This makes it easy to establish standard operating procedures and helps ensure compliance.
As they’re generated, raw data sets are automatically uploaded to your private cloud folder for easy retrieval and monitoring of in-run quality control feedback. And every file is traceable, giving you greater control of your data.
Don’t have a cloud-enabled instrument? Not a problem. You can easily transport existing raw data files from your local desktop computer to your cloud account using our Cloud Connect Utility (CCU) app. After installing the CCU app, simply designate a folder on your computer where your data resides, then sync it to your private, secure Thermo Fisher Cloud account. Any files placed in that folder will automatically upload to the cloud. (Currently available for Windows™ operating system only.)

Intuitive Data Connect features let you easily store a wide range of data sets and file types on your private Thermo Fisher Cloud account, and provide discretionary access to your results.
Our hosted data storage subscription offers online storage space that’s ideal for use with our cloud-based data analysis applications. Start with 10 GB of storage for FREE. Based on the instruments you use, your free storage amount will automatically be adjusted up to 1 TB of free storage (see the table below for details). Need more or less space? You can easily increase or decrease your storage amount anytime to fit the needs of your team and project demands. Additional storage capacity ranges from 25 GB to 10 TB plans.
Note: Your free storage amount is based on the individual user account and cannot be combined from multiple accounts.
