Thermo Fisher Scientific Introduces Connects at ACHEMA 2009, Elevating the Role of Laboratory Informatics into the Enterprise

FRANKFURT (May 11, 2009) Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced the release of a new program aimed at bridging the gap between laboratory- generated data and the enterprise-level information that is required for mission critical management decisions. Thermo Scientific Connects is being launched in Europe on booth B1-C11, Hall 6.1 at ACHEMA 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany, from May 11 – 15.

Thermo Scientific Connects is a set of offerings that leverage the company’s breadth of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Chromatography Data Systems (CDS) capabilities, as well as expertise in enterprise systems integration to help streamline and improve the transfer of knowledge between laboratory-generated data and enterprise-level information systems.
