      Description

      The GeneArt® Linear pUC19L Vector is a ready-to-use, linear version of the popular cloning vector pUC19. The pUC19L plasmid (2.7 Kbp), is specifically designed as a cloning and DNA assembly vector for the GeneArt® Seamless Cloning and Assembly Kit (cat # A13288). The vector is manufactured by digesting supercoiled pUC19 plasmid with the restriction enzymes PstI and KpnI, and tested for cloning of up to 4 DNA fragments.

      Some of the key features and elements of the pUC19L vector include:
      • lacZα gene allows easy blue⁄white colony screening for selection of recombinants
      • pUC origin of replication (high copy vector)
      • Ampicillin resistance for selection in E. coli
      • 6 convenient and validated restriction sites flanking the cloning region
      • Tested for functionality by assembly with 4 DNA fragments using the GeneArt® Seamless Cloning and Assembly Kit

      Contenu et stockage

      The product contains 5 vials of linear pUC19L vector at a concentration of 50ng⁄ml. Each vial contains enough plasmid for 4 cloning reactions using the GeneArt® Seamless Cloning and Assembly Kit (A13288 - must be purchased separately).

      Store the product at -80°C.

      The vector is guaranteed stable for 6 months when properly stored.
