Description

The amine-reactive coumarin, 7-diethylaminocoumarin-3-carboxylic acid can be used to create blue-fluorescent bioconjugates following carbodiimide-activation of the carboxylic acid on the dye and reaction with amines. When compared with AMCA conjugates, conjugates of the UV-light-excitable 7-dialkylaminocoumarin fluorophore have slightly longer-wavelength emission spectra (~470 nm).
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
