About the speaker:

Dr. Siewe obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular/Cell Biology and Immunology at the Technical University of Munich, Germany. In 2008, he accepted a Postdoctoral position at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, USA investigating B-cell development. From 2010 till 2014, he was an Instructor and Research Fellow at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, studying HIV infection and HIV-infection associated non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. In 2014 Basile joined Affymetrix, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he is currently a Field Applications Scientist III, supporting applications for visualizing RNA and protein at the single-cell level.
