Remove contaminants and unwanted analytes

Prevent contaminants and unwanted analytes from interfering with analytes of interest by using Thermo Scientific™ IonPac™ trap columns. These short columns contain high-capacity, low-efficiency, ion-exchange resin. Specialized polisher columns, installed between the sampler and injector, remove unwanted counter ions from the sample.

Anion trap columns

Dionex™ IonPac™ Anion Analyte Trap Column Removes all analyte anions from a sample in Reagent-Free™ Ion Chromatography systems with Eluent Regeneration (RFIC-EG™)
Dionex™ ATC Anion Trap Columns Contains high-capacity, low-efficiency anion-exchange resin that rermoves trace anion contaminants from hydroxide or borate eluents
Dionex™ CR-TC Continuously Regenerated Anion Trap Columns Electrolytically regenerated anion trap columns continuously remove all anionic contaminants from eluent without the need for offline chemical regeneration, and provide very low baseline drift during gradient operations
Dionex™ IonPac™ ATC-HC and ATC-HC 500 Anion Trap Columns High-capacity anion-exchange trap column designed for use with RFIC-EG systems columns, that strip anionic contaminants from deionized water or RFIC-EG eluents to prevent them from reaching the guard or analytical column

Cation trap columns

Dionex™ IonPac™ Cation Analyte Trap Column Contains high-capacity cation-exchange resin in the hydronium form.
Dionex™ CR-CTC Continuously Regenerated Cation Trap Columns High-pressure, electrolytically regenerated trap columns that continuously remove cationic contaminants from eluents without the need for off-line chemical regeneration, and provide low drift during gradient operations.
Dionex™ CTC Cation Trap Columns High-capacity, low-efficiency cation-exchange trap columns that remove trace cation contaminants from eluents. Installed in the eluent line after the pump prior to the injection valve to prevent spurious peaks and reduce baseline shifts during gradient chromatography.
Dionex™ IonPac™ CP Cation Polisher Columns (CP1 Na+, CP2 H+) Cation polisher columns that extend analytical column and suppressor lifetimes by removing and reducing deposition of metallic and other cation contaminants when analyzing anions in matrices that contain high levels of multivalent cations. Well suited for phosphate analysis with metallic contaminants.
Dionex™ MFC-1 Metal-Free Trap Columns Columns packed with special chelating resin that removes trace transition metal contaminants from high-pH eluents.
