Thermo Scientific™ AcroMetrix™ quality controls are part of a portfolio of high-quality molecular products that includes controls and standards to assist in the implementation and monitoring of assays for clinical and research laboratories, blood centers, and manufacturers.
Notification to AcroMetrix customers in all regions except Australia/New Zealand:
To better serve you, we have moved our AcroMetrix operations located in Benicia, California, to a newly constructed state-of-the-art facility in Fremont, California. This intregration of AcroMetrix products into Thermo Fisher Scientific’s broader quality controls portfolio enables us to strengthen and expand our offering to our customers. AcroMetrix products will be integrating into a portfolio that includes Thermo Scientific™ AcroMetrix™ molecular controls, MAS™ clinical chemistry controls, and other products for your clinical testing workflow. In order to ensure that your QC regimen remains unaffected, we have provided a number of resources below that describe what has changed and the actions that may be required on your part to continue obtaining AcroMetrix products.
We want to emphasize that our site accreditations remain the same. We will continue to manufacture in an ISO 13485-certified, FDA-registered site. No manufacturing processes or equipment have changed as a result of this move. No raw material providers have changed as a result of the move. Validations will be performed against existing protocols and procedures.
How to order:
Ordering of AcroMetrix products through LifeTechnologies.com or other Life Technologies ordering channels will no longer be possible, although product inserts, MSDSs, and Certificates of Analysis will still be available on LifeTechnologies.com. Existing open and pending orders will be shipped from Life Technologies, unless contacted to update the purchase order.
