Quidel Lyra™ Direct HSV 1+2/VZV
The Quidel® Lyra™ Direct HSV 1+2/VZV Assay is a multiplex real-time PCR assay for the qualitative detection and identification of viral nucleic acids extracted from lesion swabs. The assay is intended to aid in the differential diagnosis of herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 (HSV-1 and HSV-2) and varicella-zoster virus (VZV), also known as human herpes-3. VZV is the virus that causes chicken pox.
