Diagnostics at work

Sampling guidelines— We have created a series of best practice leaflets to support veterinarians with a simple guide to how, where, and when to take samples from pigs for submission to diagnostic laboratories. Each leaflet describes a different sampling technique, as well as the number of samples required for different types of diagnostic strategies. The relevance of different types of diagnostic tests is also covered, along with recommendations for the labeling, storage, and transport of various sample types.
