Cellulose Acetate (CA) Membrane Filters
Cellulose acetate membranes are very low protein binding with low extractables, and are recommended for applications requiring maximum protein recovery. Naturally hydrophobic, CA contains a wetting agent which may be toxic to some sensitive cell lines. CA is good for filtration of buffers, aqueous reagents and EIA/ELISA reagents and samples. CA is also good for cell culture media and serum used with non-sensitive cell lines.
