Western blot of 50ng, 100ng and 200ng of E. coli whole cell lysate expressing a multi-tag fusion protein using 6x-His Epitope Tag polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-23024) at a dilution of 0.2 ug/ml (1:5000), followed by chemiluminescent detection at an exposure time of 3 minutes.

280 nm of 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG. Molar enzyme/antibody protein ratio is 4:1.
The His tag is a synthetic oligo peptide consisting of 6 consecutive histidine residues (HHHHHH). It is commonly expressed as a tag at either N-or C-terminal regions of recombinant proteins to allow isolation or purification by immobilized metal affinity chromatography. The His tag specific antibody is used to facilitate detection or coimmunopreciptation of tagged proteins.
