Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.
This antibody has specificity for Mouse CD5L/Aim.
CD5L, also known as CD5 antigen-like, is a protein that is expressed on the surface of various immune cells, including T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells. It is involved in the regulation of immune responses and is being studied as a potential therapeutic target in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders, cancer, and infectious diseases. CD5L is known to modulate T cell activation and cytokine production, and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects.
