PA1-18284 detects APG12 from human and rat samples.
PA1-18284 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and Western blot procedures.
The PA1-18284 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminal residues of human APG12 protein
Reconstitute with 500 ul of distilled water.
APG12 is required for autophagy. APG5 conjugates to ATG12 and associates with isolation membrane to form cup-shaped isolation membrane and autophagosome. The conjugate detaches from the membrane immediately before or after autophagosome formation is completed.
