Annexin A2 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human pancreas tissue, using ANXA2 (Product # PA5-27085) antibody at 1:100 dilution. Antigen Retrieval: EDTA based buffer, pH 8.0, 15 min.

Annexin A2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot was performed using Anti-Annexin A2 Polyclonal Antibody(Product # PA5-27085) and a 40kDa band corresponding to Annexin A2 was observed across cell lines tested. Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of A549 (Lane 1), HCT 116 (Lane 2), HeLa (Lane 3) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0322BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry Blotting System (Product # IB21001). The blot was probed with the primary antibody (1:1000 Dilution) and detected by chemiluminescence with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Recombinant Secondary Antibody, HRP (Product # A27036,1:4000 dilution) using the iBright FL 1000 (Product # A32752). Chemiluminescent detection was performed using Novex® ECL Chemiluminescent Substrate Reagent Kit (Product # WP20005).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the annexin family. Members of this calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein family play a role in the regulation of cellular growth and in signal transduction pathways. This protein functions as an autocrine factor which heightens osteoclast formation and bone resorption. This gene has three pseudogenes located on chromosomes 4, 9 and 10, respectively. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
