BCAR1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded human endometrium tissue within the normal limits using anti-BCAR1 mouse monoclonal antibody. (Heat-induced epitope retrieval by 10mM citric buffer, pH6.0, 100°C for 10min, TA502663)

BCAR1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY BCAR1 (RC209133, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-BCAR1. Positive lysates LY415204 (100 µg) and LC415204 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

BCAR1 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — HEK293T cells transfected with either RC209133 overexpress plasmid (Red) or empty vector control plasmid (Blue) were immunostained by anti-BCAR1 antibody (TA502663), and then analyzed by flow cytometry.

Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL. To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, we strongly recommend performing another round of desalting. (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7KMWCO, 0.5 mL, Product # 89882)

Target Information

The p130Cas (Cas for Crk-associated substrate) is a common cellular target of phosphorylation signal via v-Crk and v-Src oncoproteins. p130Cas has a unique structure that contains a Src homology (SH)-3 domain followed by multiple YXXP motifs and a proline-rich regionp130Cas is implicated in a variety of biological processes including cell adhesion, cell migration, growth factor stimulation, cytokine receptor engagement and bacterial infection. Physiological functions of p130Cas include cardiovascular development, actin filament assembly and Src-induced cell transformation.
