In Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) BMP-1.1, 2, 3, 3b, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 15, or the pro region of rhBMP-10 is observed. In direct ELISAs, approximately 90% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse BMP-10 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
BMP10 is a member of the TGF-beta family of growth factors. Data suggest that the similar protein in mouse plays an important role in trabeculation of the embryonic heart. In human, this protein may signal through receptor serine/threonine kinases.
