Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is tonsil tissue.
B cell Oct binding protein 1 (BOB-1), is a transcription factor that is required for germinal center formation and immunoglobulin production. BOB-1 is expressed at high levels in spleen and peripheral blood leukocytes and represents an OCT co-factor capable of conferring cell specific activation of OCT-1 and OCT-2.
