PA1-4202 detects CD100 in human samples.
PA1-4202 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot this antibody detects a ~158 kDa protein representing CD100 in transfected CHO cells.
The PA1- 4202 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues K(777) P K S D F C D R E Q S(788) of human CD100.
Semaphorins are neuronal chemorepellants that direct pioneering neurons during nervous system development. CD100 is a novel semaphorin that induces B cells to aggregate and improves their viability in vitro. CD100 modifies CD40-CD40L B-cell signaling by augmenting B-cell aggregation and survival and down-regulating CD23 expression. CD72 is a lymphocyte receptor for the Class IV semaphorin CD100, which is involved in regulating B cell signaling.
