* Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrate the product for use in their own experiment using appropriate negative and positive controls.
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 1mM EDTA buffer, pH 8.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is thymus or skin tissue.
T cell surface glycoprotein CD1a is a member of the CD1 family of transmembrane glycoproteins and a MHC Class 1 related cell surface glycoprotein involved in antigen processing and presentation. It forms heterodimers with beta 2-microglobulin. CD1a is expressed by cortical thymocytes, Langerhan's cells, dendritic cells, precursor T lymphoblastic lymphoma, and Langerhan's cell histiocytosis.
