MA1-70101 detects CD200 in mouse samples.
MA1-70101 has been successfully used in flow cytometry, ELISA, and immunohistochemistry (frozen sections) procedures.
The MA1-70101 immunogen is mouse CD200-rat CD4 fusion protein.
Store at 4°C short term. For extended storage aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Many viral proteins limit host immune defenses, and their genes often originate from their hosts. CD200 (OX2) is a broadly distributed cell surface glycoprotein that interacts with a receptor on myeloid cells (CD200R) that is implicated in locally preventing macrophage activation. Distant, but recognizable, homologues of CD200 have been identified in many herpesviruses and poxviruses.
