MA5-12632 targets CD30 in IHC (P), WB and FACS applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The MA5-12632 immunogen is hodgkin's lymphoma cell line L428.
CD30 has been extensively studied as an important cell surface marker on many lymphomas of diverse origin and as an activation molecule of T and B cells. CD30 is a 120kDa single chain transmembrane glycoprotein that is derived from a 90kDa precursor by processing in the golgi complex. CD30 first designated Ki-1, is expressed by mononuclear cells in Hodgkin's lymphoma, Reed Sternberg cells and most Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphomas (ALCL). CD30 is also expressed by embryonal carcinomas.
