MA1-33439 detects CD33 from human samples.
MA1-33439 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (frozen tissue), Western blot, immunoprecipitation and FACS applications. For Flow cytometry use 10µl of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells.
The MA1-33439 immunogen is Human AML cells.
CD33 is found on granulocyte and macrophage precursors in the bone marrow, but is not on pluripotent stem cells. The protein is also expressed on, and is a useful marker for, peripheral monocytes. It is also useful for distinguishing myelogenous leukaemia
