In Western blot, this product recognizes CD59 under non-reducing conditions. A suggested positive control for immunohistochemical applications is tonsil. For FACS analysis, use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100ul.
CD59 is a PI-linked glycoprotein, 18-20kDa, found on all types of leucocytes including platelets. The antigen is expressed on many haemapoietic and non-haemapoietic cells.
