CRABP2 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin-embedded human endometrial carcinoma using anti-CRABB2 mouse monoclonal antibody at 1:200 dilution of 1mg/mL using Polink2 Broad HRP DAB for detection. UM800069 requires HIER with citrate pH 6.0 at 110°C for 3 min using pressure chamber/cooker. The composit of ovarian tumors shows strong nuclear, cytoplasmic, and mebraneous staining in the tumor cells.

CRABP2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot of cell lysates (35 µg) from 9 different cell lines (1: HepG2, 2: HeLa, 3: SV-T2, 4: A549, 5: COS7, 6: Jurkat, 7: MDCK, 8: PC-12, 9: MCF7). Dilution: 1:500.

Target Information

Cellular retinoic acid binding protein (CRABP) is a low molecular weight protein with unknown function and existing in two isoforms, CRABP1 and CRABP2. The predicted amino acid sequences of human CRABP1 and CRABP2 exhibits 99.3 and 93.5% identity to mouse CRABP1 and CRABP2, respectively. The CRABP2 isoform is important in retinoic acid-mediated regulation of human skin growth and differentiation. The CRABP2 gene localized on human chromosome 1q21.3 is transcriptionally regulated by a newly synthesized regulatory protein. The protein is expressed in human adult liver.
