Western blot analysis of CTIP2 using A) 30 µg Jurkat whole cell extract (B) 30 µg Raji whole cell extract and C) 30 µg NCI-H929 whole cell extract. Samples were loaded onto a 7.5% SDS-PAGE gel and probed with a CTIP2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-27260) at a dilution of 1:1000.

The PA5-27260 immunogen is recombinant protein fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids and of Human CTIP2.
This gene encodes a C2H2-type zinc finger protein and is closely related to BCL11A, a gene whose translocation may be associated with B-cell malignancies. The specific function of this gene has not yet been determined. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants, which encode distinct isoforms, have been reported.
