Lysates/proteins at 30 μg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (DyLight™ 800) at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the Odyssey technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 29 kDa. Observed band size: 29 kDa.

Carbonic Anhydrase II Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — Carbonic Anhydrase II Immunoprecipitation using: Lane A: 0.5 mg 293T Whole Cell Lysate 2 µL with Carbonic Anhydrase II Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-81327) and 15 µL of 50 % Protein G agarose. Primary antibody: Carbonic Anhydrase II Polyclonal Antibody, at 1:200 dilution. Secondary antibody: Dylight 800-labeled antibody to rabbit IgG (H+L), at 1:5,000 dilution. Developed using the Odyssey technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 29 kDa. Observed band size: 29 kDa.

This antibody has specificity for Mouse Carbonic Anhydrase II/CA2.

Target Information

CA2 is one of several (at least 7) isozymes of carbonic anhydrase. Carbonic anhydrase catalyzes reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis.
