MA1-20112 detects cardiac troponin 1 in human, mouse, rat, bovine, feline, canine, goat, porcine and rabbit samples.
MA1-20112 has been successfully used in ELISA and Western blot procedures.
The MA1-20112 immunogen is full length, human cardiac troponin 1 protein.
Troponin I is the inhibitory subunit of troponin, the thin filament regulatory complex which confers calcium-sensitivity to striated muscle actomyosin ATPase activity. It also binds to actin and tropomyosin.

Increased radial glia quiescence, decreased reactivation upon injury and unaltered neuroblast behavior underlie decreased neurogenesis in the aging zebrafish telencephalon.
MA1-20112 was used in immunohistochemistry to investigate the effect of aging on neurogenesis and its mechanism in zebrafish telencephalon
