Ceruloplasmin Antibody (MA5-38035) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Ceruloplasmin in paraffin-embedded human liver. Samples were incubated with Ceruloplasmin Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-38035) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Target Information
Ceruloplasmin encodes a protein that is a metalloprotein that binds most of the copper in plasma and is involved in the peroxidation of Fe(II)transferrin to Fe(III) transferrin. Mutations in this gene cause aceruloplasminemia, which results in iron accumulation and tissue damage, and is associated with diabetes and neurologic abnormalities.
