MA1-23336 detects Chk1 in Human samples.
MA1-23336 has been successfully used in Western Blot procedures.
MA1-23336 immunogen corresponds to Full-length human Chk1.
Chk1 is a kinase involved in the DNA damage checkpoint response, and can phosphorylate Cdc25C. It is hypothesized that Chk1 induces serine 216 phosphorylation of Cdc25C and subsequent binding negatively regulated Cdc25C, thus preventing it from activating Cdc2.
