MA5-11860 targets Clathrin Light Chain in IF, IHC (P), IP, and WB applications and shows reactivity with Bovine and Human samples.
The MA5-11860 immunogen is synthetic peptide derived from bovine clathrin light chain corresponding to the conserved region of the light chains, residues 23-44.
Clathrin consists of three heavy chain (192kDa) and three light chains (LCa or LCb, 25-29kDa) and self-assembles into a polyhedral cytoskeletal element. Self-assembly facilitates clathrin's central role in membrane sorting and selective transport within the cell.

Mannheimia haemolytica leukotoxin binds to lipid rafts in bovine lymphoblastoid cells and is internalized in a dynamin-2- and clathrin-dependent manner.
MA5-11860 was used in western blot to study the internalizatin and cytotoxicity of mannheimia haemolytica leukotoxin
