MA1-26771 detects collagen I from bovine, human, porcine, rabbit, deer, and rat samples. This antibody will not cross react with collagen 2-11, or thermally denatured collagen.
MA1-26771 has been successfully used in ELISA, dot blot, immunoflurescence and immunohistochemistry (frozen) procedures. The epitope is sensitive to routine formalin fixation and paraffin embedding. Strong staining of connective tissue fibers is seen in acetone-fixed or unfixed frozen sections. This antibody is not suitable for paraffin-embedded tissues.
The MA1-26771 immunogen is purified, full length, native bovine protein.

Afa/Dr-expressing, diffusely adhering Escherichia coli strain C1845 triggers F1845 fimbria-dependent phosphatidylserine externalization on neutrophil-like differentiated PLB-985 cells through an apoptosis-independent mechanism.
MA1-26771 was used in western blot to study the mechanism for enterovirulence of Escherichia coli strain C1845

Immune-reconstituted influenza virosome containing CD40L gene enhances the immunological and protective activity of a carcinoembryonic antigen anticancer vaccine.
MA1-26771 was used in immunohistochemistry to investigate the influence of CD40L on the efficiency of specific anticancer vaccine
