MA1-70032 detects Crry in rat samples.
MA1-70032 has been successfully used in flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry (frozen sections) procedures.
The MA1-70032 immunogen is erythrocytes from a C3 mutated rat.
This gene encodes a membrane-bound inhibitor of complement activation, which contains several tandemly arranged short consensus repeats (SCRs) of approximately 60 amino acids. The encoded protein may play a role in tumor immune surveillance, which is unrelated to complement inhibition. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
