DAPK2 Antibody (PA1-9035) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemical analysis of DAPK2 in paraffin embedded human breast using a DAPK2 polyclonal antibody (Product #PA1-9035) at a concentration of 2.5 µg/mL. Steamed antigen retrieval was performed with pH 6 buffered citrate. Samples were then stained with alkaline phosphatase.

Target Information
DAPK2 is a calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase that acts as a positive regulator of apoptosis, and is expressed in many tissue types. DAPK2 encodes a protein that belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This protein contains a N-terminal protein kinase domain followed by a conserved calmodulin-binding domain with significant similarity to that of death-associated protein kinase 1 (DAPK1), a positive regulator of programmed cell death. Overexpression of this gene was shown to induce cell apoptosis. It uses multiple polyadenylation sites.
