Anti-Human ERCC1 is an IgG2a Mouse Monoclonal Antibody that recognizes Excision Cross Complementing 1 (ERCC1), a human endonuclease. ERCC1 protein forms a complex with Xeroderma Pigmentosum Group F (XPF) protein. During nucleotide excision repair of damaged DNA, the ERCC1-XPF complex forms an incision at the 5' end of the DNA lesion. Deficiencies in the nucleotide excision repair pathway result in disorders such as Xeroderma pigmentosum, Cockayne's syndrome and trichothiodystrophy.
