Immunofluorescence analysis of Erg was performed using log phase Reh cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 15 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 45 minutes at room temperature. v-ets erythroblastosis virus E26 oncogene like isoform 2 (ERG) is a transcriptional regulator. It may participate in transcriptional regulation through the recruitment of SETDB1 histone methyltransferase and subsequent modification of local chromatin structure.
